Hi! I'm Katie.  I have been organizing and hosting The Craft Bee since September 2015 and love providing the women of London Ontario with the opportunity to be involved in a creative community.

I was raised in a small town in Southwestern Ontario, Canada and now live in London, Ontario with my husband, two sons and our dog Molly! I am addicted to making stuff! During the day I am a homemaker and mother to Benjamin and Theodore. Things that make me happy are: thrift shopping, crafts (obviously!), chocolate, and adventures with my family.

Crafting, creating, and making stuff runs deep in my blood. My brother and I used to watch Art Attack every day after school on TV. We loved replicating all the projects and crafts on the show and coming up with our own versions. My parents instilled in us a deep love for creativity and the arts.

I learned how to crochet a few years ago and realized I love it so much more than knitting. I am by no means an expert in anything, but I love to learn new techniques and try new things. I have been sewing since I was a little girl and that skill is invaluable.
